What is an Ectopic Pregnancy?

Istanbul Ectopic Pregnancy: During the formation of pregnancy, sperm and ovum unite and an embryo is formed and this embryo settles into the uterine membrane (endometrium). If the resulting embryo settles in a different place inside the uterus, an ectopic pregnancy occurs. In this case, some complaints occur depending on the location of the ectopic pregnancy, and if early diagnosis and treatment is not performed, serious life-threatening conditions may develop.
