Endometriosis: It is the condition of the tissue called endometrium in the uterus, which is shed and thrown away during each menstrual bleeding, in a different place other than the place where it should be. Generally, endometriosis foci may be located in the ovaries (ovaries), tubes, the outer surface of the uterus (serosa), the space behind the uterus (Douglas' cavity) and other abdominal organs (intestine). Pain during sexual intercourse (dyspareunia) and menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea) most commonly cause infertility complaints. It is one of the gynecological diseases that require long-term treatment and follow-up.
