What is an Ovarian Cyst

Ovarian (ovarian) cysts: Ovarian (ovarian) cysts are highly benign masses that mostly originate from the ovary's own tissue. By definition, a cyst means a mass with a thin-walled structure and fluid in it, which can be of different sizes. Ovarian cysts are very diverse, such as simple cyst, dermoid cyst, chocolate (endomethroid) cyst, functional cysts. Ovarian cysts, although rare, can be malignant. The treatment method varies according to the type and size of the cyst. The important point in the treatment of ovarian cysts is early diagnosis, so every woman should have a gynecological examination once a year.
